Dave a.k.a Wimpy was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, friend, and coach. In his life, he never met a stranger. It was often a joke amongst his friends that he should run for the mayor of Wapak. Dave coached many teams including Little League baseball, Junior Acme baseball, Midget football, high school bowling, travel softball, and college bowling at UNOH. Dave was the first Wapak Redskins bowling coach when it was a club team. The life Dave lived was so beautiful, he loved all the kids he coached and mentored. Those kids then became his buddies as adults. Dave had such a positive effect on so many people's lives as a coach, mentor, and friend. When he was not coaching he was supporting his daughters in their extracurricular activities. He was an avid supporter of the Michigan Wolverines, Wapak Redskins, Wright State Women's Bowling, UNOH Racers Bowling Program, and Lima City HAVOC travel softball organization. Dave also had a special place in his heart for the Auglaize County Special Olympics He will truly be missed by so many.
